While basketball obviously plays a big part in Giannis Antetokounmpo's life, his family takes on an even bigger role. Not only is the Milwaukee Bucks power forward the second-oldest brother in a family of seven, he's also a father of two. To pay homage to his loved ones, the Greek Freak will be honoring them with the upcoming Nike Zoom Freak 4 "Family" edition.
Covered in a grey knit material across the entire upper, this is contrasted by vibrant graffiti-style graphics around the back. The lateral heel features "family" in a pink font, while the medial is decorated with a neon Swoosh as well as "young heir" text. Elsewhere, the toe adopts a vibrant baby blue hue, and the sockliner is dressed in an eye-catching turquoise. Underfoot, a highly-sculpted midsole is infused with Zoom Air tech for an insane amount of comfort both on and off the court, and it's finished off with a white marble effect along the outsole.
The Nike Zoom Freak 4 Family is set to release in 2022 or the beginning of 2023. It will drop at Nike, as well as select stockists both online and in-store. A retail price as well as sizing are TBA.
