80s basketball sneakers still have a chokehold on the sneaker world with models like the Dunk, AJ 1, and NB 550 maintaining popularity. One model that came from The Swoosh, the Nike Terminator, was designed specifically for the Georgetown University basketball team and saw a short lifespan on the shelves. Even with retros coming and going over the years, Nike is digging into the archives and reviving the model with a slew of colorways, both collaborative and OG, that will make a return in 2023. Adding to the list, “Noble Green” has just appeared on the silhouette.
Seen in its typical all-leather construction, the model comes in a two-tone combo of white and green across the upper with hints of sail and other green shades throughout. Around the mudguard, eyestays, and heel sits noble green leather while the perforated toebox and smooth leather midfoot panel come in all-white. Along the white mesh tongue sits a set of tonal green laces, reaching up to the green Nike tongue tag above. Placed atop the midfoot is the infamous Nike Swoosh, keeping the two-tone look alive as it's covered in green. Back on the heel, large “NIKE” branding makes its mark in yet another tonal green shade, matching the leather pull tab. Rounding out the look is the sail midsole paired with a darker green rubber outsole.
The Nike Terminator High Noble Green is set to release in on January 26th, 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $125.
