The Nike Structure 26 Debuts July 2025

Nike’s history in running is well documented, proving the brand is at the forefront of the sport. Redefining the stability running category, Nike is set to introduce the latest update to its Structure lineup with the Structure 26. Built on three decades of innovation, the newest iteration delivers a refined combination of comfort, stability, and sleek design.
Nike Structure 26 Tech Specs

At the core of the Structure 26 is a completely reengineered platform that replaces traditional rigid stability elements with a full-length ReactX foam midsole. This marks a significant shift from previous models, which utilized Cushlon 3.0 foam and Zoom Air.
The new model offers a smoother, more fluid stride while catering to runners prone to overpronation or those needing extra midfoot and heel support. Pair this with the new midfoot wrap system, which stabilizes the arch and heel through each step, and you have a sneaker that reduces strain across longer distances.
Beyond the midsole, Nike has made thoughtful updates throughout the shoe. A new mesh upper paired with extra collar and tongue padding enhances lockdown and comfort, adapting to natural foot movement. Meanwhile, a redesigned outsole uses high-abrasion rubber in the heel for durability and blown rubber in the forefoot for a plush ground feel. These adjustments result in a run that feels both secure and smooth, no matter the pace or distance.
Designer and Athlete Insights on the Nike Structure 26

“When it comes to the evolution of our Structure franchise, a lot of research in the NSRL is around how we can provide stability for runners in a new way,” says Emily Farina, Senior Principal Researcher in the NSRL. “The Structure 26 strikes an innovative balance, providing great cushioning that lessens the impact on your body while offering biomechanical stability at the foot and ankle for runners who want that extra support — all without rigid or bulky materials that can be common in stability footwear.”
Elite athletes like Olympic champion Cole Hocker and U.S. 1500m champ Sinclaire Johnson have already made the Structure 26 part of their training toolkit. “It keeps everything — my ankles, my knees, and my whole body — moving in the right direction,” said Hocker. Johnson echoed the sentiment, praising the balance of support and freedom: “It hugs my midfoot while letting my toes breathe, giving just the right amount of cushion and energy return.”
The Nike Structure 26 will debut on July 3, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store in various colorways. Pairs are priced at $140, with most coming in unisex sizing.
