Nike SB may have seen a spike in popularity due to the hype train for the SB Dunk Low, however, the skateboard-focused side of The Swoosh has plenty of signature silhouettes from skaters that have their own cult following - Stefan Janoski included. Janoski crafted one of the 2010s most iconic SB sneakers with his Zoom Janoski model as its low-top almost-Vans-like appearance made waves in high schools and skate parks across the nation, however, the model took a break for some time - until now. Seen here in a pastel-like “Alabaster Celestine Blue,” the Nike SB Zoom Janoski OG+ is hitting shelves once again.
The low-top silhouette comes with the same simple construction we’ve come to love as its two-layer design features an all-over suede with celestine blue shades landing on the toebox and heel while alabaster takes over the midfoot panel and collar. Black leather laces run through the plastic eyestays and cross over the red suede tongue, stopping just below the Stefan Janoski-branded tongue tag. Further black accents land on the embroidered Swoosh along the midfoot and via the sockliner. On the insole, a co-branded Nike SB and Stefan Janoski logo is present atop the cork insert (though a red set of insoles is included as well) while the entire design comes complete with a white rubber midsole and black rubber outsole.
The Nike SB Zoom Janoski OG+ Alabaster Celestine Blue is set to release in March 2023 through select Nike SB-affiliated skate shops and via Nike SNKRS on April 19th, 2023. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $95.
