Even with a much shorter history compared to the rest of Nike Inc., Nike SB has become one of the Beaverton-based sportswear label's most innovative divisions. Known for its hit collaborations with various IPs, food companies, and designers, Nike SB consistently elevates the brand's name. Intracompany collaborations include the renowned Air Jordan 1 Low and the coveted Air Jordan 4 SB crafted with Jordan Brand. Following the news of an Air Max 95 with SB tooling, images of a sample Nike SB x Nike Air Force 1 Low have emerged, showcasing a reworked paneling and tooling designed to withstand skate sessions.
This upcoming collaboration infuses the classic Air Force 1 Low with Nike SB's skate-ready enhancements. The sneaker features suede panels on the toe and collar, adding durability and a premium look. The paneling has been redesigned for better performance during skate sessions, with the leather portions on the toe and midfoot fused, forgoing the traditional stitching.
This fusion offers increased durability, making the sneaker more suitable for skating. The collaboration is denoted by Nike SB branding atop the tongue, while a sleek black midsole and outsole complete the look, adding a touch of elegance to the robust design. It’s important to note that as this is a sample pair, the final product could differ if/when a Nike SB x Nike Air Force 1 is released.
The Nike SB x Nike Air Force 1 Low has no confirmed release information, but if it does come out, it should release in 2025 through Nike SB-affiliated retailers and possibly via Nike online.
