Nike Skateboarding has never been scared to recognize the international counterculture holiday since its early years. Various themes have adorned Nike SB releases throughout the years such as “Hemp,” “Drunk Skunk” and “Strawberry Cough,” to name a few. Today we get a look at a previously unseen Nike SB Dunk Low.
Dubbed the “Blue Raspberry” edition, these SB Dunk Lows follow in the footsteps of Todd Bratrud’s “Strawberry Cough,” specifically taking inspiration from a unique strand of cannabis. A part of the "Fruity Pack," they come in a racer blue, laser blue, university blue and white colorway. Various shades of Blue cover these kicks. Featuring light blue leather underlays with royal blue suede overlays. A third shade of blue adorns the Swoosh on the sides, tongue tag and branding on the back heel tab. A custom “Blueberry” graphic is found on the inner tongue tag while a classic puffy tongue completes the look. While this pair is labeled as a “final adoption” sample, there is no word as to whether or not they will look different upon their unconfirmed 2022 release.
The Nike SB Dunk Low “Blue Raspberry” is set to release in 2022. It will launch at Nike as well as select retailers both in-store and online.
