Nike SB brings candy corn themes to the iconic Nike Dunk High for Halloween 2023.
Thematic releases from Nike come from across their various sub-labels, however, Nike SB is often the most creative in this department. As we usually see around the spooky season, Nike SB has crafted another Halloween-themed SB Dunk following 2021’s “Mummy” colorway on the low-top version of the model with 2023 featuring a candy corn-like Nike SB Dunk High.
Taking on the tri-tone shades you find on the sweet candy, the model not only draws a resemblance to the orange and white treat but an iconic SB Dunk from the past - the Ray Guns - with its color blocking. While we don’t see any fictional aliens on the model, the leather heel overlay features a Mohler tooth graphic with candy corn stuck to the tooth. As for the rest of the sneaker we see white shades land on the mudguard and toebox, deep orange on the quarter panel and eyestays, and finally a brighter orange on the heel overlay, sockliner, and collar. Stark white laces contrast the vibrant eyestays and heel overlay while we see the midsole feature an all-black look with orange contrast stitching. Rounding out the design is a semi-translucent rubber outsole featuring candy corn graphics.
The Nike SB Dunk High Trick Or Treat is set to release on October 2023 through Nike SB-affiliated skate shops and possibly through Nike SNKRS. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
