Nike Teams Up with Realtree for a Camo Collection of Sneakers
Published
Even if you’re not deep in the woods or an outdoorsperson, you can still appreciate camo. Woodland camo print has always had its place in fashion circles, but it seems that in recent years it's blown up and become a full-on trend with just about every brand dropping some form of camouflaged apparel and sneakers.
Who helped popularize the woodland camo print we see today? Bill Jordan’s Realtree. He founded the Realtree company in 1986 and created a camo pattern with colored pencils that would revolutionize the hunting industry, and they’ve been going all-out celebrating their 40th anniversary in 2026.
Crossing the boundary of hunting into the lifestyle realm, Realtree has been teaming up with Nike for some months now, dropping Air Force 1s and other retro sneakers using the company’s print, but they’re about to break another barrier. For the first time, Realtree patterns will be put on performance silhouettes from The Swoosh. Included are the ever-popular Nike Vomero Premium, the Pegasus Premium, Vomero 18, Pegasus 41, Vomero Plus, and Structure 26.
