The Nike Pegasus Premium Volt Releases Fall 2025

Once a sneaker crosses over from its intended sport into the lifestyle realm, it’s become a hit. That’s exactly what happened to Nike’s Pegasus Premium, a model the brand developed as a high-end running sneaker, but has become a go-to for casual wear among sneakerheads. Maybe Nike had some idea this would happen, as many of the recent releases have leaned into lifestyle-friendly color schemes.
Runners do take a liking to loud, in-your-face color palettes for their sneakers, with Nike providing this with the fan-favorite Volt option on its models. The tennis ball green shade has made an appearance on the Pegasus Premium in the past, albeit as the accenting shade on a white colorway, but this new rendition of the model casts (virtually) the entire sneaker in this hue. The circular knit upper is done in a single shade of volt, spanning the top and bottom half, the perforated padded tongue, and the sockliner.
Black accents land on the midfoot Swoosh, the Zoom Air text split between the left and right shoe’s medial midfoot, and the Pegasus Premium text atop the tongue. Coordinates land on the medial ripstop eyelets, leading to Nike’s first retail location, back when they went by Blue Ribbon Sports, in Santa Monica, California. Finishing the sneaker is the stacked midsole, featuring volt hues on the full-length ZoomX foam and ReactX foam wedge in the heel and black on the full-length molded Zoom Air unit.
The Nike Pegasus Premium Volt will release Fall 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $220.
