Stepping into the sneaker spotlight is the Nike NOCTA Glide, a long-anticipated collaboration with Drake’s NOCTA label and Nike. Drawing inspiration from the classic Nike Zoom Flight 95, this shoe is a fusion of retro basketball aesthetics and modern streetwear influences. Nike's partnership with Drake under the NOCTA label has seen multiple releases since its inception in 2020, most recently on the snakeskin-covered Hot Step Air Terra colorways.
Drake’s modern interpretation of the '90s basketball silhouette features a black mesh upper complemented by a two-tone black and white textile panel wrapping around the sneaker's profile. Echoing the Zoom Flight 95, the sole unit houses four bug-eye cutouts, revealing the carbon fiber beneath the white foam. The shoe also showcases a 3D Swoosh logo near the collar and bold "NIKE" branding split between the four lower eyestays. A handy nylon pull tab adorns the heel, while a semi-translucent icy blue outsole finishes the design.
The Nike NOCTA Glide Black White has released sporadically at retailers over the last few months, but they will finally release on September 14th via NOCTA and September 15th worldwide. More specifically, Nike SNKRS will host a drop on September 15. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
