For LeBron, the playoffs were doomed from the start, considering the Lakers’ injuries, making the squad’s first-round win a victory in its own right. For Watkins, an injury kept her on the sideline while a tough draw saw the USC Trojans women’s squad bounced in the second round by 1-seed South Carolina. No worries, though, the time off gives both LA superstars a chance to drop their new collab shoes.

The Nike LeBron NXXT Gen By JuJu Silver Lining is the debut colorway of the NXXT Gen silhouette co-designed with Watkins. After months of previews bringing the college star and NBA GOAT together, Nike is ready to release the first colorway of the silhouette in a full coat of metallic silver.

The low-top LeBron NXXT Gen By JuJu features a full-length Nike React foam midsole and a pair of Air Zoom units in the forefoot. For the upper, Nike uses flexible leather, mesh, and durable TPU support overlays for a breathable and comfortable on-foot experience that provides the right amount of containment. As for personal details added by JuJu, we see a premium jewel Swoosh hand-picked by the women’s basketball star, a quilted flower pattern on the tongue and collar, and a “By JuJu” doodle on the back of the tongue.
