Nike LeBron 23 Elite Hurt Feelings Write History

Bay Area sports fans are used to the major swing between championships and collapsing. The Niners followed the Young and Montana dynasty with an almost-was Super Bowl loss at the goal line during the Kaepernick era, the Giants switched that up, giving away Barry Bonds’ chance for a ring in 2002 before becoming dynastic in the first half of the 2010s, and for the Warriors, well, the collapse came mid-dynasty.

To commemorate that collapse, and the man who caused it, Nike’s latest LeBron 23 Elite tells the story of the 2016 NBA Finals through a visual medium familiar to all Bay Area natives: an earthquake. After getting an early look at the chasedown block-inspired pair earlier this month, a new set of official images shows even more detail on the Hurt Feelings colorway.

Featuring an iridescent mix of yellow and green armor on the crown-shaped lower-half support that changes color depending on the angle you see it from, the rest of the upper is covered in a cracking black earthquake print, presumably added to represent the Warriors’ crumbling after starting the series up 3-1. Gold accents are added to the branding and LeBron logos to give The King his crown.

The Nike LeBron 23 Elite Hurt Feelings Write History will be released April 17, 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online.
