With comparisons drawn between Michael Jordan, there is an argument to be made whether or not LeBron James’ has surpassed MJ in terms of on-court performance. Speaking on the two’s signature lines at the Swoosh, however, one is the clear winner and he has 37 sneakers under his belt. However, the Nike LeBron 20 is arguably one of The King's best models to date with a variety of color options on the horizon including the GS-exclusive “Young Heirs.” Joining in on the GS trend is the upcoming “Laser Blue” colorway.
Across the upper, a one-piece engineered mesh gets covered in a vibrant laser blue shade with accenting details coming in pink, yellow, and green. The former of these three shades appear on the leather eyestays, tongue, laces, and sockliner with orange details getting placed on the lace dubrae and on a leather patch in the center of the tongue. Branding details remain standard for the LeBron 20 as James’ signature appears on the tongue and his crown logo makes it to the heel. Double-Swoosh action makes its way to the lateral side with a metallic gold logo sitting atop a yellow Swoosh that features green overstitching details. Underfoot, a full-length Zoom Strobel unit comes with additional Zoom Air bags in the forefoot and heel, aiding both comfort and impact protection on the court. All of this is encased in a split white/green midsole with a green glow rubber outsole completing the design.
The Nike LeBron 20 Laser Blue (GS) is set to release in October 2022 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in grade school and pre-school sizing, the retail price is set at $160 and $95 respectively.
