While other sneakers named after the killer whale paint it black and white and call it a day, Kyrie Irving takes this inspiration quite literally with his upcoming Nike Kyrie 8 "Orca." One of his last sneakers ever with the Beaverton-based sportswear giant, this colorway marks the end of an eight year long era.

Surfacing in a stealthy black color scheme, mercury grey Swoosh outlines decorate the lateral and medial side panels for a look that is sure to turn heads. The Brooklyn Nets point guard's logo features on the left tongue in light menta, while the right tongue boasts two orcas swimming around in a circle that's meant to represent a yin and yang symbol. The midsole underfoot is etched with Kyrie's signature at the heel, while the outsole opts for an oceanic blue and purple scheme that's as wavy as it gets.

Releasing on November 11th, 2022, as mentioned before the Nike Kyrie 8 Orca Black may just be one of his last sneakers with the Swoosh. Set to drop in full family sizing for $140, $120, $90, and $65, these will be available via Nike and select retailers worldwide very soon.
