We’ve been expecting a run of colorways from the Nike Kobe lifestyle line for months now, with pairs of Dunks and Air Force 1s dedicated to the Mamba’s high school alma mater and his could-have-been career with the Charlotte Hornets. For the Hornets Dunk Low Protro colorway, Nike mixes the snakeskin print we’ve come to expect with white leather and a splash of bright color.

Taking Kobe’s Protro approach to the lifestyle side of things, Nike upgraded the Dunk Low with new technology for the Mamba pairs, including a drop-in ReactX midsole and updated tongue construction. On the outsole, the forefoot traction pattern is patterned after a coiled snake, and the stars on the toe are reshaped to look like Bryant’s sheath logo.
The Nike Kobe Dunk Low Protro Hornets will release Summer 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $135. For all the latest Nike Kobe lifestyle line news and updates, download the Sole Retriever App.
