Vanessa Bryant Shares a Nike Kobe 9 EXT High Vino PE

Kobe Bryant's love of fine wine — and his game only improving with age — earned him the nickname Vino. Although this name doesn't carry the same weight as his iconic Black Mamba moniker, his footwear from both Nike and adidas has drawn inspiration from it, leading to various PE and retail versions of his sneakers. The latest Vino-themed Nike Kobe arrives in the form of the rarely seen Nike Kobe 9 EXT High.

Shared on social media by Kobe's wife Vanessa Bryant, this Nike Kobe 9 EXT High Vino PE coats the high-top model in a wine red hue on both the premium suede and leather paneling. Most of the design opts for a lighter red suede, while the tongue and overlays wrapping around the collar come in a premium tumbled leather finish.

Metallic Gold pops are located on the Kobe sheath logo on the tongue and on the midfoot Swoosh, the former of the two featuring additional stitching details to add to the premium touches. Underfoot sits a burgundy red Kobe 9 midsole with Bryant’s signature on the heel and a semi-translucent gum outsole.

This Nike Kobe 9 EXT High Vino PE currently has no plans to be released to the public, and like many of the shoes shared by Vanessa Bryant, the sneaker will remain exclusive to her and a select group of people, at least for now.
