Vanessa Bryant's Instagram has become a treasure trove for fans of Kobe Bryant's signature Nike sneakers. Recently, she's been giving the world a glimpse into exclusive colorways of Kobe's shoes, such as the Kobe 4 Protro Valentine's Day, Kobe 8 Protro Valentine’s Day, and the Kobe 8 Protro Leopard Print. Now, she's showcased a special Nike Kobe 6 Protro that pays homage to the legendary Los Angeles Dodgers.
First spotted on the feet of Natalia Bryant, one of Kobe and Vanessa’s daughters, when she threw out the first pitch at the Dodgers Game in September last year, this Kobe 6 PE epitomizes the intersection of basketball and baseball. The sneaker features the Dodgers' iconic blue, covering most of the shoe's upper in its base layer and the signature faux reptile skin overlay. The design is elevated with crisp white accents on the Swoosh, Kobe's logo, lace set, and TPU heel counter, creating a striking contrast. Additionally, red highlights are strategically placed on the "8" on the lateral heel, paying homage to Kobe's jersey number and the baseball stitching on the tongue. Completing the design is the white foam midsole, providing comfort and support, paired with a blue rubber outsole for durable traction.
