Jalen Brunson’s Latest Nike Kobe 5 Protro PE Adds Knicks Accents to Statue of Liberty Green

The New York Knicks are moving on. It looked dicey for a second in the early going, but by the end of the Knicks’ first-round series against the Hawks, the NYC squad sent Hawks fans home sad with a record-setting 51-point blowout in the series clincher. As the Knicks look forward to playing the winner of Game 7 in Boston this weekend, Jalen Brunson is filling in the wait time with a new Nike Kobe 5 Protro PE colorway.

The Nike Kobe 5 Protro Jalen Brunson PE popped up in a leaked preview on social media this week, but only in one quick sneak peek. Adding an oxidized copper green color to the base, just like Brunson’s pair of Kobe 6 Protro Statue of Liberty PEs, the new pair mixes in a marbled camo mix of Knicks colors for a full coat of NYC inspiration.

The colorway starts with Statue of Liberty green on most of the upper, but the Knicks influence hits quickly, dripping onto the toebox in a mix of orange and blue that extends up to the lace panel and onto the heel panel. A blue Swoosh completes the King of New York colorway, with a semi-transparent outsole underneath.
