The Los Angeles Dodgers are looking to threepeat, but before they can bring home the Commissioner's Trophy and another banner to Dodger Stadium, they have to get through the Atlanta Braves in the NLDS. Right now, the series is tied at one apiece, and maybe a little help from the late Kobe Bryant can put their spirits in the right place ahead of game three tonight. You’ll probably see some players channeling their Mamba Mentality on the diamond and in the dugout, but Dodgers fans can also partake in the Kobe magic thanks to a shock drop of the Nike Kobe 5 Protro Dodgers.
Nike Kobe 5 Dodgers Shock Drop
Without warning, Nike loaded pairs of the Nike Kobe 5 Protro Dodgers to the SNKRS App, giving everyone a chance to rep LA’s favorite baseball team (sorry, Angels), as they continue to push through the postseason. The release went live at 1:00 PM EDT (10:00 AM PDT), and as of this writing, sizes are still available.
The Kobe 5 Protro Dodgers first hit shelves in August, just as the MLB was heading into the final parts of the 2026 season. However, unlike the Kobe 6 Protro Dodgers, the 5s didn’t fly off shelves and sell out instantly. There have been a few restocks across retailers, and Nike even included the pair in its recent Kobe Day restock celebration, but it seems that there are still pairs for The Swoosh to bless the Dodgers community.
Where to Buy the Nike Kobe 5 Protro Dodgers Shock Drop
The Nike Kobe 5 Protro Dodgers shock drop took place on the SNKRS App at 1:00 PM EDT on October 6, 2026 for $190. Some sizes have sold out, but head to the SNKRS App to check and see if they have your size available.
