Capturing Kobe's Philly roots and embodying a spirit of patriotism, this Kobe 4’s color scheme salutes the red, white, and blue. Blue panels cover the mudguard, midfoot, collar, heel, and tongue. Vibrant red and crisp white accents on the lace set, Swoosh, and sockliner offset these blue tones. Kobe's signature is imprinted on the lateral heel, while reflective 3M hits on the collar illuminate the shoe's star detailing. Celebrating Kobe's birth date, August 23, 1978, the insole proudly displays the date. This "Protro" release, indicative of performance retro, updates the midsole tooling for modern performance and comfort. A two-tone finish in white and blue enhances the midsole and outsole.
The Nike Kobe 4 Protro Philly will release on April 13, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $190.
