Player-exclusives are nothing new to professional athletes, but thanks to NIL and a ton of investment in youth hoops, brands now produce exclusive colorways for up-and-coming prodigies, too. Not only do individual athletes get their own PEs, but so too do youth leagues across the globe. After the Chinese High School Basketball League got multiple Nike Basketball PEs, including two GT Futures, a Sabrina 3, and two GT Cut 4s, the CHBL has its very own Kobe 3 Protro Low.

The pair is coated in an icy igloo blue, coming across like a jade green hue, contrasted by golden accents throughout. The leather toe cap and heel overlay are done in a stark white, contrasting the icy marbled igloo hue used on the TPU cage over the mesh base. Golden accents begin on the lace charm, move to the Kobe sheath logo atop the tongue, and finish on the Swoosh on the heel tab.

Inside, the insoles feature branding for the CHBL and Bryant, with the league’s logo found on the right shoe, and the phrase “Touch The Line” and a Kobe sheath logo placed on the left. Finishing the design is the white and marbled igloo sole unit.

The Nike Kobe 3 Protro Low CHBL has no confirmed release date, but in the video shared by thefixkicks, a retail box with a product SKU is visible. This doesn’t automatically mean it’s getting a release, however, the label doesn’t mark it as a PE or promo pair, meaning it’s possible that the shoe will be released in the Asia market.
