USC Women’s Basketball Debuts a Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro PE for March Madness

The NCAA PE sneaker wars have been just as intense as the on-court match-ups this season, and with March Madness kicking off this week, you know Nike wasn’t going to slow down on the heat. As the Trojans get set to kick off the women’s tournament against Clemson, the USC Women’s Basketball Team is lacing up for battle in style.

The Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro USC PE is the latest pack of Nike PEs to touch down in LA for the Trojans, following a long year full of custom Kobes, Book 2s, and player-specific GT Cut PEs for Jazzy Davidson and JuJu Watkins. Even with Watkins out for the tournament, USC’s 9-seed spot with Davidson’s young leadership puts them in a prime position for an upset run.

With that goal in mind, the Mamba Mentality is a must, and the new PE pair of Kobe 3s is perfect for tapping in with Kobe’s cutthroat competitiveness. Starting with a white leather and TPU base, the colorway adds USC red mesh in the background and a gold and red SC logo to the tongue. Keeping it light, the outsole features a mix of clear white, yellow, and red in an almost tie-dye blend.
