It seems like it was just yesterday that Kobe dropped 60 points on the Utah Jazz during his final NBA game before retirement, but next month will mark the 10th anniversary of the date that Nike now calls Mamba Day. Yeah…we’re old. The Bryant-specific sneaker holiday has taken on more importance in the years since Kobe’s tragic passing, and for the one-decade celebration of his last appearance on an NBA court, The Swoosh is going all out.

The Nike Kobe 11 Protro Mamba Day is one of two Kobe 11 Protro colorways dropping for the April 13 holiday, joining the Fade to Black colorway that Bryant wore on court during the 60-point performance. The Eric Avar-designed all-over print Mamba Day colorway was also released a decade ago on the day of Kobe’s last game, offered on NikeID (now Nike By You).
