Kevin Durant’s latest Nike KD 19 PE is a Tribute to the Air Jordan 18

Kevin Durant and the Rockets are playoff-ready. Houston is locked into the middle of the Western Conference playoff picture, and with KD and his young supporting staff firing on all cylinders, the squad is looking to make a serious run in the playoffs. The West is tougher than ever this year, but as we all know, with Durant on the court, anything is possible.

If you needed a reminder of just how great the Slim Reaper is, all you need to do is take a look at his latest Nike KD 19 PE. Clad in a clean coat of white and navy, the pair was made to commemorate Durant's passing Michael Jordan on the all-time scoring list.

Nike designer Mike Washington posted on Instagram that the pair was inspired by the last pair of shoes Jordan ever wore on an NBA court, a white and navy pair of Air Jordan 18s, as a way to celebrate MJ’s final points, a number that Durant eclipsed late last month. Durant now sits fifth on the all-time scoring list, and with plenty of points still left in the chamber, expect KD to keep climbing the short list.
