The NCAA PE push has been relentless this year, with schools up and down the Nike and Jordan lineup posting new school-specific colorways, stacking endless heat in the closets of student-athletes across the country. And while silhouettes like the Ja 3 and Kobe 5 Protro have been spread to plenty of schools, it also pays to have a special relationship with one of Nike’s premier signature stars.
Ahead of Texas’ nationally televised Valentine’s Day matchup against Missouri this weekend, the Longhorns popped up on Instagram with a new gift from Nike and the school’s most famous Hall of Fame-bound alumnus, Kevin Durant.
