Kevin Durant’s Nike KD 18 EYBL Team Durant PE Mimics the International Blue Foamposite
Published
Earlier in the month, Nike presented us with a look at a slew of upcoming products from its basketball division, including detailed information and images of the GT Future, new Ja 3 colorways, and multiple releases from Kevin Durant’s signature line. Included here was a colorway that takes inspiration from KD’s DMV roots, mashing up the iconic International Blue Foamposite One with his Nike KD 18. While we will have a shot at this sneaker later in the year, photographer Riccardo Mestre (who goes by uninstructedvision on Instagram) has revealed a Nike KD 18 Team Durant PE for the Nike EYBL inspired by this same Foamposite.
Unlike the retail pair featuring the same metallic blue upper, this pair opts for a similar blue hue on the mesh base. This runs back across the midfoot, which features an Air Terra Humara-inspired cage with a shiny blue finish. Swoosh branding and logos for KD and his Team Durant squad are done in an iridescent chrome look.

Team Durant text is applied to the inside of the tongue, while the team logo is embedded into the tonal blue insole. Finishing the upper is the tonal blue lace set with white stitching details, tonal blue stitching, and a chrome trim on the midfoot cage. Down below sits a blue foam midsole paired with a milky white translucent rubber outsole.
The Nike KD 18 EYBL Team Durant PE will not be released to the public. Instead, it will remain exclusive to Kevin Durant and members of Team Durant.
