One of the most famous series of sneakers comes from Kevin Durant’s signature shoe line with Nike, which is the Aunt Pearl-themed colorways. Durant began to honor his late Aunt Pearl, who passed away from lung cancer in 2000, with the Nike KD 4 in 2012. Since then, every single Nike KD model (and even a retro of the KD 3) has been given the Aunt Pearl treatment. And of course, the Nike KD 18 is joining this company.

Retaining the pink and floral-inspired color palette, this KD 18 comes with a light pink hue across its suede, leather, and mesh upper. The most obvious reference to the Aunt Pearl motif comes via the midfoot cage, which itself is derived from the Air Terra Humara, as it is covered in pink roses. This graphic extends onto the sockliner, while the rest of the upper is bathed in a light pink and cream hue.

Pops of hot pink appear on the lace set and the outline of the Swoosh on the collar. Final details on the upper include the cream colors on the branding details, including the KD logo on the tongue, the Swoosh on the collar, and the Kay Yow logo on the interior lining of the tongue. Down below sits a pink midsole with hot pink splatter paint details and a creamy semi-translucent rubber outsole.

The Nike KD 18 Aunt Pearl will release Holiday 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $155.
