NBA superstar Ja Morant may be going through a dark time this season—being sidelined with various injuries and being unsuccessfully shopped around to other teams—but his signature shoe, the Nike Ja 3, is still shining thanks to this new colorway.
Morant leaked a handful of colorways on Instagram at the start of the NBA season, including the 12 Time colorway dedicated to his AAU team and a metallic blue colorway that pays homage to his Uncle Phil. Among those previewed pairs was a gradient colorway reminiscent of the Miami Heat’s Vice gear. Now, official images of the grade school version of Nike Ja 3 At Dawn have arrived. Morant’s number 12 is tied to his personal mantra of working in the darkness and getting better while everyone is asleep, even the sun.
The Nike Ja 3 At Dawn adds a sunrise-themed blend that honors those long nights of training until daybreak. The trio of colors starts with a hot pink near the eyelets at the top third of the shoe that fades into a sky blue near the middle third.
That shade of blue is also implemented on the metallic swoosh, ZoomX branding on the midsole, the Ja monogram on the tongue, and the “twelve” branding on the heel. Finishing the look is a vivid orange on the bottom third of the sneaker that seamlessly blends into the solid orange midsole, which deviates from the translucent version found on the adult sizes.
The Nike Ja 3 At Dawn will be released in Spring 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. Available in adult and youth sizes, the retail prices are set at $135 in men’s sizes and $112 in grade school sizes.
