Ja Morant’s troubles off the court have hardly interrupted Nike's plans for his first signature model. With the Ja 1 "Hunger" recently hitting shelves and an “Ember Glow” rendition set to hit stores tomorrow, Nike continues to grow the franchise. Joining the lineup soon will be a heavily themed Ja 1 "Halloween."
Shades of bright lime blast and oil green combine on this synthetic and mesh upper. Lime blast covers most of the sneaker with oil green blocking out the back heel counter and appearing on the Swoosh. Ja’s signature appears on the lateral heel, but the real fun begins with zombie scratches cascading across the Swooshes as they converge at the heel. Hands rise out of graves for the mustache graphic, while Morant's number "12" is embroidered in blood red. A cacao colored midsole further reinforces the earthy themes, with the outsole reusing lime blast to tie the whole model together.
The Nike Ja 1 Halloween Zombie will release October 20, 2023 through Nike and select retailers, online and in-store. Releasing in both men’s and grade school sizing, the retail price will be $120 for men and $100 for grade school.
