Nike is a brand that is constantly pushing the envelope when it comes to sneaker design. On top of its innovative technology that fuses performance and style, The Swoosh hosts some of the top athletes on its roster of talent. Enter Ja Morant, one of the NBA’s youngest stars, finally releasing his signature sneaker with Nike, the Nike Ja 1. We have seen a slew of colorways for both the Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter. Now, set to hit shelves in the latter half of the year, the Nike Ja 1 "Ember Glow" has appeared.
Featuring a bold colorway that is perfect for summer, the model’s upper comes constructed out of a combination of mesh, leather, and TPU overlays, providing both durability and breathability. This "Ember Glow" colorway features vibrant red hues on most of the sneaker, except the Swoosh, which comes in blue lightning. On this logo, we also see a slight purple tint applied as if it was painted atop the blue shade. More accenting hits come along the black sockliner, while the tongue tags come split between purple on the right sneaker and blue on the left. The white foam midsole featuring Zoom Air cushioning provides a nice contrast to the bold upper, while a grippy black rubber outsole rounds out the latest Nike Ja 1.
The Nike Ja 1 Ember Glow will be released on July 7th, 2023, at select retailers and on the Nike website. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
