As 2023 progresses, Nike is set to roll out a special kids' exclusive iteration, dubbed the "Backyard BBQ" colorway, adding to the line-up of Ja 1 silhouettes.
With a fresh take on Morant's signature sneaker, the Backyard BBQ is a testament to creativity and storytelling. Predominantly draped in a serene blue chill, the sneaker boasts various contrasting details. The geode teal, characterized by its tumbled leather texture, outlines the shoe, delivering a refined touch. The blue chill theme extends to the mesh base, laces, and tongue, creating a harmonious visual appeal. However, what truly sets this sneaker apart is its thematic nods to a typical cookout. The tongue sports a captivating Nike logo with fire graphics and grill utensils. "On Fire Since '99" is gracefully etched, paying homage to Morant's birth year.
