Nike ISPA, the more experimental side of The Swoosh that created polarizing silhouettes like the ISPA Link, is taking a stab at the foam slip-on trend dominated by the likes of the Yeezy Slide, Foam RNNR, and Salehe Bembruy x Crocs Pollex Clog with their upcoming silhouette the Nike ISPA Universal.
Coming with a one-piece foam construction, the model is covered entirely in a monochromatic shade of white dubbed “natural.” Organically shaped cutouts and ridges that appear almost like fossils are spotted throughout the upper while the shape of the model is somewhat similar to the aforementioned Foam RNNR as it features a closed-off heel and perforations throughout the forefoot. Back on the heel, an embossed Nike Swoosh marks one of the few branding details visible on the upper with the final hit of Swoosh branding coming along the toebox. Internally, a cork insole features Nike ISPA branding while the design of the model is completed with a foam midsole and outsole that features a grippy traction pattern.
The Nike ISPA Universal Natural is set to release on April 25th, 2023 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $80.
