Foam-based slip-on footwear took over the industry in 2022 as every brand introduced its own version of the silhouette. While Nike Sportswear and Jordan Brand are truly taking a stab at it in 2023 with the Nike Calm Slide, Jordan Hex Slide, and Jordan Mex Mule, The Swoosh’s experimental department, Nike ISPA, is set to bring us their organic-like design as well. Already revealed in the “Natural” colorway, the Nike ISPA Universal has also appeared in a marble-pattern “Natural Mink Brown” rendition.
Coming with a natural, organic-like design across a one-piece foam silhouette, the model is dressed in a two-tone natural and mink brown color scheme that features the latter of the two colors creating its exotic-like pattern. Details remain the same as your standard pair with fossil-like ridges featured throughout the upper and perforations/cutouts found along the toe and forefoot. Swoosh branding is present on the toebox and heel while the cork insole hosts a Nike ISPA logo alongside yet another Swoosh logo. Underfoot sits a foam midsole and outsole with the latter of the two getting a grippy traction pattern.
The Nike ISPA Universal Natural Mink Brown is set to release Spring 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $80.
