Nike's ISPA line has consistently pushed the boundaries of design with its unique approach encapsulated by the mantra: Improvise, Scavenge, Protect, and Adapt. This innovative spirit is vividly showcased in the ISPA Universal, a model that blends advanced technology with practical design cues for daily wear. Although the foam-based slip-on design of the ISPA Universal hasn't topped popularity charts, it remains a significant piece in Nike's exploration of new footwear concepts. Now, a new Natural Black color scheme has appeared.
This latest colorway of the ISPA Universal features an intriguing aesthetic. A fossil-like pattern that adorns its archaeological-inspired upper, presenting a textured look reminiscent of natural elements. The shoe is predominantly dressed in a natural cream color, which is subtly offset by black overtones that give it a slightly aged, worn-in appearance. This color scheme enhances the shoe's design narrative, emphasizing its theme of endurance and adaptability.
The branding is seamlessly integrated into the shoe's design, with a molded Swoosh on the heel and Nike ISPA branding on the cork insole, enhancing its unique appeal. The design is completed with a tonal foam outsole that blends perfectly with the rest of the upper, ensuring comfort and style go hand in hand.
The Nike ISPA Universal Natural Black will release April 25, 2024, through Nike and select retailers both online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $80.
