As one of Nike’s most innovative lines, ISPA has made a name for itself by creating by pushing boundaries in footwear through sustainability, aesthetics, and function. Last year saw the introduction of the ISPA Link, a standout model constructed without glue. Interlocking parts allow the newer ISPA Mindbody to form without glue either, and the latest rendition takes its dashing look from koi fish.
Made primarily from recycled content, the ISPA Mindbody leverages a cord system for structure and stability instead of conventional adhesives. The main draw is the padded Flyknit upper, which flaunts a dynamic blend of white, black, and orange shades in a pattern that invokes its namesake marine creature. Orange cords are strategically interspersed throughout the upper, while the insole is stitched into the design and gives the feeling of walking on grass. The design is completed with a foam sole unit marked by black traction pods for optimal grip and comfort. The eco-conscious aspect of the Mindbody extends beyond its construction, as you can return it to Nike for recycling at the end of its lifecycle.
The Nike ISPA Mindbody Koi Fish will release on July 19, 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $180.
