Hybrid Shoes for Hybrid Athletes

Instead of switching between weightlifting and running shoes, the Nike Hybrid collection is a brand-new segment of The Swoosh’s workout line, combining the best of both worlds from strength training and agility training. The Nike Hybrid line debuts with two new silhouettes, the Nike Hybrid RN for daily training and the Nike Hybrid Fly for race day.

Combining the best in Nike technology in silhouettes with thick midsole stacks and wide toes, the Nike Hybrid silhouettes add Nike Air, ZoomX and ReactX foam, plus carbon fiber Flyplate technology for a complete mix of stability and speed. The Hybrid RN uses Air Zoom in the forefoot and ReactX foam, while the Hybrid Fly features premium cushioning thanks to the ZoomX foam, carbon Flyplate, and dual forefoot Air Zoom units. “I have always wanted a shoe that ran like the snappy carbon-plated shoes but found a way to put a stable footing and grip out on the race floor as well,” says Dylan Scott, Nike world champion hybrid athlete.

Nike Hybrid Release Details

The Nike Hybrid RN will debut the Nike Hybrid collection, releasing September 24, 2026 in China, followed by a global drop on October 8, 2026 through Nike and select retailers in-store and online. The Nike Hybrid Fly will follow shortly after, with a release date in April 2027. Available in unisex sizing, the RN will retail for $150, with the retail price on the Nike Hybrid Fly still TBD.
