Nike’s been a global brand for decades, but with the World Cup coming to the US this summer, Beaverton is bringing nationally-inspired flag designs to the forefront. Soccer doesn’t get to have all the prideful fun, though. The latest Nike GT Cut 4 PE is made for hoopers from the Great White North, adding a large red and white maple leaf graphic to each shoe.
The Nike Cut 4 Canada PE is one of the clearest flag-themed shoes we’ve ever seen. Splitting the colorway in half lengthwise instead of on either side of the asymmetrical paneling, a red patent leather maple leaf graphic stretches across the toebox to the middle of the shoe, with the jagged edges of the leaf striking across either side panel.

On the back half of the shoe, a clean sheet of white matches the rest of the Canadian flag like a fresh layer of snow on the tundra. A red Swoosh is added to the back of the midsole, and a maple leaf hangtag is attached to the top lace in icy blue.
The Nike GT Cut 4 Canada PE doesn’t have a release date or price as of now, and there’s no word on whether it will drop at retail, but if it does, we’ll keep you posted. To stay up on all the latest Nike PE news and drop info, download the Sole Retriever App.
