Jason Kidd’s AAU Team Gets Its Own Nike GT Cut 3 PE

The Dallas Mavericks finished the 2025-26 NBA season well below the .500 mark. They’ll have Kyrie back on the floor next season and a sophomore campaign out of Cooper Flagg, so don’t worry, Dallas fans, your time may be coming soon. Coaching the squad is NBA legend Jason Kidd, but outside of his NBA coaching duties, he’s got his own AAU team, the Jason Kidd Select, to worry about. Those young hoopers are lucky, because not only do they have a 10-time NBA All-Star to look up to, but they have some great shoes they’ll be able to rock on the court.

Pictured here by a friend of Sole Retriever David Giongco, better known online as DG Hoops, is a sample pair of Nike GT Cut 3s for Kidd’s AAU program. The pair uses a bright hot pink color palette on the lateral half of the shoe, with black accents popping on the lateral toe, the Swoosh, lace set, and the tongue.

On the medial side, we see white hues dominate, matching the pull tab on the tongue, which features a logo for the AAU team. Kidd’s name is spelled out on the lateral heel in the same style that his Jason Kidd Select AAU squad uses. Finishing details include the player-exclusive-stamped insole, which is found on many Nike Basketball PEs, a purple midsole, and a matching purple rubber outsole.
