Nike has always been a powerhouse for reviving vintage classics, bringing back models like John McEnroe's Mac Attack. This time, the spotlight is on the Nike Field General 82, a silhouette that carved its legacy on the football fields of the 1980s. After the successful re-introduction of the sneaker earlier this year in White Varsity Red, the model has now emerged in a clean Black White. A White Gum Yellow iteration has also been spotted alongside this neutral pair.
This particular Black White iteration boasts a durable combination of leather for its upper and resilient nylon across the toe, midfoot, and tongue, ensuring comfort and longevity. The silhouette's predominantly black base is elegantly contrasted with white highlights on the Swoosh, heel tab, and Nike branding adorning the tongue, offering a timeless aesthetic that blends seamlessly with any wardrobe. Completing the look is a black rubber midsole and a highly functional black rubber outsole designed to provide superior traction and support.
The Nike Field General 82 Black White will release on April 18, 2024, through Nike, SNKRS, and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $100.
