Virgil Abloh’s creative influence continues to be seen in Nike’s general release designs. Sometimes its subtle details and accents added to classic designs for new ways of introducing Nike branding, other times it’s completely rethinking what panels overlay and underlay the sneaker, adding elements with the intention of customizing the sneaker. Whatever it may be, it’s pretty clear that we will continue to see Virgil live through Nike’s designs. In a somewhat similar design, in comes this all-new kids exclusive Nike Dunk Low in "Tan Green."
Tan, slightly pebbled leather covers the majority of the sneaker as it overlays panels of white. The quarter panel is split in materials between leather and textile, also in white. A minty green Swoosh lays right over the seam and swoops into the black heel tab. The rest of the branding accents involve the same green as well. The last bit of branding is a small tab that hangs from the Swoosh logo on the upper. All this sits on a foundation of a white midsole and a darker tan Dunk outsole to complete the look.
The Nike Dunk Low Tan Green GS is set to release in 2022. Look for the sneaker to drop on Nike and at select Nike Sportswear retailers in grade school sizing with a retail price TBA.
