While most adult pairs of the Nike Dunk come in more “mature” colorways, kids exclusive kicks across the board get a more playful tone to them. We’ve seen releases coming from The Swoosh (and their subdivisions like Jordan Brand) like the Nike Air Force 1 “South Beach Multi-Color” or the Air Jordan 4 “Messy Room” that convey different vibes from your typical releases. Adding to their roster of kids' exclusive sneakers, images have emerged courtesy of House Of Heat of the Nike Dunk Low "Superhero" (GS).
Appearing in a patriotic color scheme similar to that of Captain America’s costume, tumbled leather and smooth leather come together (alongside added details) to create a true superhero kids' shoe. Around the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay sits a varsity royal blue while the toebox, quarter panel, and collar come in a stark white hue. Regal accents in gold make their appearance on the tip of the toe and around the edge of the heel tab while the heel overlay itself hosts a golden “Nike” branded button. Working towards the laces, you’ll find a set of blue flat laces that come piped with red details, matching both the tongue tag and Nike Swoosh. Continuing the royal blue shades is the mesh sockliner while the white insole features a Nike-branded graphic resembling an old-school cartoon “POW!” Finishing the design is the sail Dunk midsole and blue rubber outsole that appear to use partially recycled materials in their construction.
The kid's exclusive Nike Dunk Low Superhero is set to release in 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in grade school sizing, the retail price is currently TBA.
