Taking one of the classic BTTYS colorways, Nike brings satin materials to the Dunk Low “UNLV.”

Going back in time to the original release of the Nike Dunk, its first marketing campaign was centered around collegiate basketball programs that each received their very own colorways. To this day, these original colorways, including Syracuse, St. Johns, and UNLV, are some of the most sought-after pairs. After a restock on the 2020 release of the “Syracuse” and rumors of a 2023 re-release for the “St. Johns” colorway, images have emerged of a remix to the classic UNLV covered in satin.
Taking on the OG colorblocking seen on the Nike Dunk Low “UNLV”, this version replaces the standard all-leather construction we’ve come to know and love from the Dunk and instead adds silky satin across its upper. This material wraps around the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay in red while grey shades take over the toebox, quarter panel, collar, and tongue. Branding details mainly come in red, as seen with the Swoosh and “Nike” text on the midfoot and tongue respectively, while the heel tab’s “Nike” text is embroidered in grey. Underfoot, a white Dunk midsole comes paired with a red rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Satin UNLV W is set to release Summer 2023 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
