During Nike’s 50th anniversary in 2022, the company made it clear that the next 50 are “For Her” - a promise to bring more inclusivity to both sneaker releases and the industry itself. We’ve seen throughout the last twelve months an increase in women’s exclusive colorways across the entire lineup offered by The Swoosh and its subsidiaries as well as collaborations with the likes of Nina Chanel Abney and Bephie’s Beauty Supplies, however, 2023 doesn’t seem to be slowing down with the women’s releases. Joining the ever-expanding lineup, the Nike Dunk Low has just appeared in “Sail Citron Tint Ocean Bliss.”
Keeping things classic, an all-leather construction is deployed with shades of ocean bliss making their mark across the overlays while a sail leather base makes this cool hue pop. Standard details you’d find on any Dunk release remain as the toebox receives perforations, the tongue tag hosts “Nike” text in a similar shade to the overlays, and tonal laces pop off the tongue that matches the underlays. Working along towards the Swoosh branding, citron tint provides major contrast to the mostly two-tone offering while the heel tab contains “Nike” text embroidered in the same citron tint hue. Underfoot, a sail Dunk midsole with tonal stitching details comes paired with an ocean bliss rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Sail Citron Tint Ocean Bliss W is set to release in the Spring of 2023 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
