A staple on social media feeds, sneaker events, and resell stores since 2019, the Nike Dunk has remained relatively unchanged since its original release way back in 1985, however, The Swoosh is bringing the silhouette to 2023 with the “Remastered” iteration. As reported on previously, we can expect a handful of colorways to hit the scene this year such as the clean “White Gum,” or “Light Silver Pink,” however, the latest to be revealed is the most vibrant of them all - “University Blue Game Royal.”
Taking on a leather and mesh combo across the upper, the two titular shades of university blue and game royal cover the underlays and overlays respectively. Leather takes over the slightly reconstructed mudguard, inverted eyestays, heel overlay, and jumbo Nike Swoosh while a cooler shade of university blue appears on the mesh toebox, quarter panel, collar, and on the inside-out tongue. Tonal game royal laces run up the tongue and weave in and out of the additional game royal nylon pull tab. Underfoot, a coconut milk-shaded midsole and outsole encapsulate improved cushioning for the Dunk as it features a full-length Air Strobel unit.
The Nike Dunk Low Remastered University Blue Game Royal is set to release Summer 2023 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store.
