A premium makeover on the Nike Dunk Low “Quilted” Wheat.
Without fail, The Swoosh has continued to create new colorways on the Nike Dunk Low silhouette, whether that be the infamous Panda Dunk or one of the classic collegiate colorways. While these mainstays are often the bread and butter of the brand, new colorways and material changes are quite common as the shoe is almost 40 years old at this point. Unlike the Disrupt 2 variant, which has just appeared in a pastel "Pink Oxford," the latest Nike Dunk Low gets a quilted makeover in a "Wheat" colorway.
The upper comes completely covered in a tonal shade of wheat with the underlays getting dressed in a tumbled quilted leather while the overlays on the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay come in a standard tumbled leather. Aside from this, standard Dunk details remain with the toebox getting perforated, though a small embossed “Nike” text is visible on multiple parts of the panel. Running from the midfoot to the heel tab is a tumbled leather Swoosh, leading back to the Nike branded heel tab. Laces and tongues remain in the realm of wheat as well as the sockliner and insole, though the graphic printed on top of the insole does come in a slightly different shade. Underfoot, a white Dunk midsole is paired with a semi-translucent gum rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Quilted Wheat W was originally slated to release in September 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. After a small delay, it will now release on October 4th. Coming exclusively in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
