While the Dunk Low dominated sneaker culture for the last three-plus years, its hype has died down considerably to the point that you can scoop up plenty of pairs on sale directly from Nike. Even still, the model has remained a canvas for The Swoosh to bring new themes to life. Following up on pairs like the University Gold Coconut Milk and Neapolitan, we now look at the Dunk Low's new Paisley Hoops colorway.
The Dunk Low Paisley Hoops takes on a distinctive look with its blend of materials and colorways. The sneaker features a mix of cracked and smooth leather alongside canvas, presented in a striking white and gorge green color scheme. The gorge green overlays exhibit a textured, cracked leather finish, which contrasts the smooth white leather on the toe box and mid-panel.
However, the highlight of this design is undoubtedly the canvas Swoosh and collar, which boast a unique paisley print filled with basketball motifs rendered in an eye-catching blue. This thematic execution is further enhanced by additional basketball-inspired graphics, including a debossed basketball on the lateral heel and unique branding touches, such as a "1" on the left shoe's tongue tag and a Japanese character beneath the semi-translucent outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Paisley Hoops will release in Summer 2024 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $125.
