Nike continues to push forward with its Dunk Low releases, even as the popularity of this retro style sees some ebb and flow. Despite recent statements from Nike indicating a pullback on the sheer volume of these retro releases, new colorways are still making their way to the market. Following looks at the Safari Print Pack and the CO.JP University Red Obsidian retro, Nike is set to drop the Nike Dunk Low Oil Green this fall.
The Nike Dunk Low Oil Green features a unique blend of materials and colors, making it stand out in the crowded Dunk lineup. The sneaker's upper combines light green suede on the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlays with oil green canvas on the toe, midfoot, tongue, and collar. This combination offers a textural contrast that enhances the shoe's visual appeal. Adding to this, a white leather Swoosh runs along the midfoot, providing a crisp, clean accent to the otherwise green-dominated upper.
Underfoot, the Dunk Low Oil Green boasts a white rubber midsole with a classic look and feel. The outsole is particularly noteworthy, featuring a translucent gradient rubber design that transitions from green at the toe to a deeper shade at the heel. This gradient effect is complemented by a Swoosh logo embedded within the outsole, adding a subtle yet striking detail to the sneaker's overall design.
The Nike Dunk Low Oil Green will release in Fall 2024 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $125.
