By now we expect Nike to come up with unique colorways on one of their most popular silhouettes, the Dunk Low. With all colors and color blocking techniques having been applied, the Swoosh turns to changing materials to keep the Dunk fresh. Taking inspiration from ocean currents, the Nike Dunk Low “Ocean” has emerged.
Coming in the usual two tone color blocking featuring white and blue, the material change along the tongue and overlays makes this silhouette stand out among the rest. The perforated toebox is surrounded by a blue textured leather mudguard and further overlays, appearing like the ocean's current. The usual mesh on the tongue is replaced by a white sandwich mesh, complemented by blue laces and tongue tag featuring ocean waves. A Nike Swoosh with the same wave-like pattern runs back along the midfoot back to the embroidered Nike heel tab. Rounding out the look is a white midsole matched to a semi-translucent blue and white tie-dye outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Ocean W is set to release in 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in women's sizes, retail is set at $120.
