Nike's Dunk Low has seen many transformations and iterations since its peak popularity in the early 2020s. While the hype may have cooled, leading to multiple colorways on sale at Nike, the silhouette continues to evolve, with Nike introducing new colorways and sustainable designs that appeal to both sneakerheads and eco-conscious consumers. This summer, the Dunk Low is back with an environmentally friendly twist in the form of the Next Nature (NN) version, crafted predominantly from recycled materials, in a Photon Dust Obsidian color scheme.
The Nike Dunk Low NN Photon Dust Obsidian offers a sleek, modern look with a conscious construction. The upper features synthetic leather, maintaining the traditional Dunk Low design but with a sustainable approach. Complementing the leather are sections of white mesh on the collar and tongue, enhancing breathability and comfort.
The colorway is a subtle yet striking mix of photon dust shades across the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay, contrasted sharply by obsidian hues on the Swoosh, heel tab, and the Nike branding on the tongue. Creamy laces weave through the upper, mirroring the color of the eco-friendly rubber midsole beneath, which provides durable cushioning. The design is completed with an obsidian rubber outsole that perfectly echoes the sneaker's color scheme.
The Nike Dunk Low NN Photon Dust Obsidian will release in Summer 2024 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the sneaker will retail for $125.
