Since its inception in the '80s, the Nike Dunk Low has transcended its basketball roots to become a fashion staple for sneakerheads and casual wearers. Its ability to adapt and evolve, both in terms of materials and colorways, has kept it perennially relevant. We've seen innovations such as the Cordairoy design, and fans have already shown enthusiasm for the recently released Cyber and Miami Dolphins variants. Spring 2024 promises another stellar addition with the women's Photon Dust Armory Blue colorway, seemingly drawing inspiration from Sean Cliver's SB Dunk Low from 2020.
Setting a serene mood, this Nike Dunk Low is crafted with a luxurious hairy suede texture. This texture swathes the sneaker in a dual-tone palette of neutral grey and ice blue, making it nostalgic and fresh. While the ice blue offers a chill base, the neutral grey smartly contrasts on the mudguard, eyestays, and heel. A deeper shade of grey marks the Swoosh and heel tab, punctuating the design. The icy blues gracefully extend to the tongue, complemented by laces and a tongue tag bathed in a subtle blue-tinted white. A pristine off-white midsole anchors the look, harmoniously juxtaposed with a captivating blue rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low Photon Dust Light Armory Blue (W) will release on January 25, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $135.
